Flower Crown
We start with the Flower Crown, with Pink yarn~
R1: 31ch
* or you could make (multiples of 3 + 1 )ch to your desirable length
R2: ch3( counted as 1dc ) ,1ch , on the 5th ch from the hook, work 1dc, [skip 2, (dc,ch,dc)] 10 times ; or until the end of the ch.
The (dc,ch,dc) forms a triangle space. We should get 11 triangles on R2.
R3: 1 ch, turn the work , [ in the triangle space, work 7dc, slst on the next dc] 11 times, slst on the first dc of R2. Leave a long tail before cutting off the yarn.
Roll the stripes into a rose-shape. Fix the petals together with the long tail.
Leaves
you could make 2 or 3 if they fits to your imagination.
With Green Yarn,
R1: 6ch
R2: on the 2nd ch from the hook slst , sc, hdc, 2dc.
R3: slst on the first ch of R1, leave a tail of ~2inches then cut off the yarn
Calyx
With Green,
R1: Mr, 6sc
R2: [ slst on the first sc of R1, 5ch, slst on the second ch, 3 sc ]
[ ] is one leave of the calyx, so repeat [ ] 5 more times. slst on the first ch of R1 , leave a long tail, cut the yarn.
Stem
Better watch the video for this part ~ as the details may be too overwhelming to list down by words.
Get 1 wire fold into half , put the wire through the bottom of the Rose , twist the 2 half of wire into 1 piece.
Put the wire through the middle of the calyx. Also, tie the leaves on the wire with the long tail.
Prepare a green yarn of 3 times of the length of the wire. ( even longer is totally fine )Then wrap the wire with this long green yarn , spread glue on the wire as you go. Then tie the remaining yarn onto the bottom of the rose, hide the loose end.
That’s it ! Well Done !
