Baby Rattles- Rolling Bears

This is a pattern of an excellent newborn gift. Expecting a baby could be exciting and even stressful, let alone in this unusual season. How about crochet a toy for the baby? Abbreviation + Technique of Stitches Required

• MR = Magic rings
• SC = Single crochet
• INC = Increase stitiches
• DEC = Decrease stitches

Materials

• Hook : 2.5 mm hook
• 2 colours of Yarn : 50g/ 110-130meters, cotton or wool for baby is preferrable, since it is for baby
• Optional : Small amount of yarn in a preferrable colour for accessories. Embroidery thread is acceptable if you don’t want to buy a whole new skeins of yarn for the accessories
• A tapestry needle
• Polyfiberfill for stuffing
• Embroidery thread for eyes and nose

Foundation Row: Magic Ring
Row 1 : 6 sc
Row 2: 6 * [sc, inc]
Row 3: 6* [2sc, inc]
Row 4: 6* [3sc,inc]
Row 5: 6* [ 4sc,inc]
Row 6: 6* [5sc,inc]
Row 7-13: change colour , 36sc
Row 14-17 : 6* [ 4sc, dec]
Stuff firmly and put the bell inside the rattle before going to the next row.
Row 18: 6* [3sc, dec]
Row 19: 6* [2 sc, dec]
Row 20: 6* [ 1sc ,dec] Row 21: 6sc Fasten off.

NOSE
Foundation
Row: 4 ch We have to knit single crochets around the chain
Row 1: from the second ch from the hook 1sc , then ch1. At the 3rd , 3sc, Now we have come to the other side of the second chain, sc1 , sc 2 at the last chain ( 8 )
Row 2: 6 * 2sc ( 16)
Row 3: 16 sc Fasten off then sew the nose on Row 7 of the main body or anywhere you find suitable . Embroidery the eyes and nose and mouth.
